FAH Health Financing and Costing Expert
Zina Jarrah is a health financing specialist, with experience in costing, cost-effectiveness analysis, results-based financing, health insurance, and political economy analysis. Her work has frequently focused on maternal and child health and community health programmes
She has worked with governments, donors, and other stakeholders in a variety of low- and middle-income settings, comprising more than twenty countries, primarily in Sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia
Previously, Zina worked as a Health Financing Technical Advisor with Management Sciences for Health, where she developed a costing and financing tool for integrated community case management (iCCM), and oversaw the tool’s application in ten countries
She is fluent in English, Arabic and French
Zina holds a DrPH from the Harvard Chan School of Public Health, an MPH from Boston University, and a BA from Wellesley College.
